Love how he calls me "Mama"

Adore Crate Paper's new lines. I seem to have a new found love for patterned chipboard. Perfect for layering and adding a little finishing touch. Quite good value for money too.

Here I have upcycled some packaging (Webster's I think) as the backing for my photo.

What a gorgeous dinky little bee brad, don't you think?

Pleased to be using a touch of pink on my wee boys' layouts....

A chipboard gate to complement the photo....

and a final layout to leave you with...

Happiness is Togetherness

A couple of layouts to share featuring Cosmo Cricket's 'Togetherness' line.

'Togetherness'- how delightful is that? Perfect colours for my wee fellas...fun and whimsical...kite strings, and pinwheels...Deliciously muted.

Aren't these wee bunnykins the cutest little things...With a touch of glitter and a baker's twine collar to finish them off.

And scrapbooking those little things that could so easily be forgotten. The 'post lunch banana loaf in the caravan' routine when we were holidaying with family in Christchurch last summer.

High Tea

A wee while back my friend Kim celebrated the opening of her craft room by hosting a high tea. The food was amazing- especially the brioche filled with custard and blueberries.

This was my gift to her. A wee decorated glassine sack filled with a few goodies.

The button card stamp is from Papertrey Ink. The pin is Maya Road from Scrap Box NZ.

Below are the goodies contained in the wee parcel. Hope she enjoys them!

Happy Easter Weekend. xo

Butterfly love....

Some gorgeous butterfly love, inspired by this post http://retrospection.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/03/i-swear-it-must-be-the-warm-weatherif-fifty-degrees-is-considered-warm-i-suppose-in-minnesota-after-four-months-of-zero.html by Christine Middlecamp. I have been very inspired by Christine's use of COLOUR and her unique and wonderful LAYERING. I am now not afraid to use touches of pink in my boy's layouts and I am a little more liberal with colours. FUN! So enjoy these little guys... enjoying the sun out on our hebe plants.

My favourite would be the teeny tiny one with angel wings. You? :)

Now the fun will be in placing these wee friends...

Hugs, S.

Scrapping sanity

Love my Saturday Scrap sessions with my dear friend Lyn! This was a layout I worked on a couple of Saturdays ago. Chilling out, drinking coffee, sharing the weeks ups and downs and of course creating. So have had this layout brewing for a while. Jillibean PPs on bazzill, October Afternoon vintage card, alphas and rubons, glimmer mist, Jillibean stickers, Maya Road envelope, Webster's alphas, Papertrey Ink die (thanks Iemke!), Stampin' Up die, Cosmo chipboard, Martha Stewart Punch. Think that's it! LOL Have told the story of the bird feeders inside the envelope. Ol shot upstairs when I was still in bed detailing the steps of how to make them. He was sooo keen and I was sooo half asleep LOL

Sweet Tradition

I love my morning tradition. Sort the kids out, then brekkie and a lovely expresso over email and a few of my fav blogs. A little inspiration for the day. A bit of me time. Sweet little tradition to get the day started.

My cards today were inspired by a Prima ad in a mag. The birdcages are cut from a Webster's PP, punch is Martha Stewart, bird is Stampin' Up, little roses and baker's twine from Scrap Box NZ, black pp unknown, wrinkle ribbon from Memrie Mare on Etsy, little flowers (bottom card) are Prima and pink flower unknown.

Hope you've had a good week. It feels like it's been a long week- not bad per se, just long. TGIF!!!!!!
