Sweet Tradition

I love my morning tradition. Sort the kids out, then brekkie and a lovely expresso over email and a few of my fav blogs. A little inspiration for the day. A bit of me time. Sweet little tradition to get the day started.

My cards today were inspired by a Prima ad in a mag. The birdcages are cut from a Webster's PP, punch is Martha Stewart, bird is Stampin' Up, little roses and baker's twine from Scrap Box NZ, black pp unknown, wrinkle ribbon from Memrie Mare on Etsy, little flowers (bottom card) are Prima and pink flower unknown.

Hope you've had a good week. It feels like it's been a long week- not bad per se, just long. TGIF!!!!!!

Makes my heart sing

I am sooo glad to have found my absolute passion which truly makes my heart sing. Have you found yours? Since you're visiting my blog we may share the same love of creating wih paper. How sad would it be if you went your whole life on earth not discovering something you love doing.

A 'mini' to share today- well a few pics of one anyway. A 40th album for my sister-in-law. Patterned Papers were October Afternoon Thrift Shop. Yum Yum.

My hubby's the bubba in the pic below.... nawwww

Gotta love the 80s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bye for now. Hope you get some time to create this weekend. xo

Back!

Back (at last!!!) with a few layouts to share today. Firstly a page for Scrap Box NZ, made with gorgeous glittery paper from MME. Product details over there- link on right.

Secondly, inspired by a digital layout in a CK magazine. STOKED with the way it turned out. Those Jillibean corrugated alphas are fab. Used quite a bit of stash too-always good.

Finally some October Afternoon goodness on a very simple layout! Maybe even a little too simple.

Have a good day. Your comments are very much appreciated. Thoughts are with Japan during yet another major disaster.
