Busy

What a busy day it was yesterday...

Had a stall at the baby fair for Parent's Centre.  Was pretty tired afterwards but saw heaps of people I knew going through and exceeded my expectations re. what I made so that's all good.  I resorted to drinking instant coffee **shock horror**!!!!!!!  Got desperate an hour later so was sent out on a coffee mission and had to use a plastic box lid as an umbrella.  Decided it was better to be embarassed than wet LOL

Then Gav was kind enough to 'let me out' again (LOL) for scrapping.  Arrived TIRED and left ENERGISED.  Gotta love scrapping.

THEN out for tea for my friend Lyn's Birthday.  Fortunately I managed to keep it a surprise when we were scrapping in the afo after almost letting it slip a couple of times.

These PPs are quite different to what I normally use.  The background is Glitz Designs, the photo mat is Websters and the rest Fancy Pants.

Looking forward to a catch up day today and hanging with my boys.  Blessings.  Sally xo

Retreat was awesome

Last weekend I attended the Scrappin' Patch Retreat.  It was down at Glen Tui in Canterbury.  It was AWESOME!  I came back tired, but at the same time revived and pumped and happy to have met some new friends.  I was inspired not only in the SMASH album workshop, but by the talented scrappers attending.  I look forward to buying Gel medium, mica powder, a new border die and an edge distresser to name a few....I am going to revive my white embossing from days gone by.  Scrapbooking is just so moreish.  I got 6 LOs done, along with a partially completed smash album.  That's not bad.

Above PP is MME.  I cut the flower layers and notebook edge using my Cameo.

Some O A love!  An 'Ollie' in the bed context is 2 arms up, a 'Half Ollie' is 1 up.  Yes we are a crazy bunch.

Blessings. xo Sally.

A few to share....

My wee family and I had an awesome weekend away in Blenheim late last year.  The Picton foreshore was a great place to take our boys.  They adored the mini train rides.

Above, PPs are Simple Stories and Echo Park.  The banner was cut with my Cameo.

A 'Jamesie Preschool' layout.  How I have loved 'Crate Paper Random'.  FUN!  Hanging out for the new CHA releases to make in to NZ.

Finally if you haven't already seen Mr Owlie- here he is!!!!  He has now flown the nest and I do miss the wee guy.  Might have to whip up a few more.  Oh he was made with my Silhouette Cameo.  Hugs and thanks for stopping by. xo Sally.
