Four to share

Hello Peeps.  Have been beavering away at my Smash Album from Retreat and I should have it ready to show soon.  Such fun.  Ordered a Crop-O-Dile from Scrap Box NZ to complete the project.  Have wanted one for ages so finally bit the bullet.

First LO above was for Scrap Box NZ using Little Yellow Bicycle's Head of the Class.  I have a big school boy now.  Time flies.

The final three LOs from retreat.  Firstly using Kaisercraft PP a record of Ollie's major glue gunning obsession.  I loved his kindy.  Such creative teachers.  The robot at the top pulls out to reveal a jounalling card.

Love how Jamsie picks me flowers.  Well he hasn't done that for a while so good to have it documented. LOL.  PPs are Glitz Design and Basic Grey.

Finally the hedgehog eating the cupcake.  Too funny.  Especially Gavin saying to leave him alone as "he's eating the best meal he's had in days".

Have a nice weekend folks.  S.

Retreat Layouts at Last

Well the holidays are nearly over.  The end of this last week has dragged a bit, but on the whole I think the boys have had a good time.  Highlights would be crossing the strait and having a few nights in the North Island.  Ollie and I saw a neat play 'Pinnochio' which really captured his interest- I loved hearing him crack up.  I enjoyed a 'break' on Wednesday, attending a Nathan Mikaere Wallis workshop on the developing brain.  Interesting stuff.

Now onto SCRAPPING.  So the above layout shows my big boy looking a little uncertain at his first school visit.  Some hidden journalling tucked away in that dear little Maya Road pocket.  Papers are Basic Grey.

The above layout was inspired by a LO I found on Pinterest- gotta LOVE that place.  I am a little addicted.

Above was a scraplift of Annelie Maddock's work.  I combined MME and Amy Tangerine PPs. Incidentally,James got his Runna bike at Christmas time and now I can't keep up with him.

Happy Sunday.  :)  Sally.

Mud and braces

A couple of pre retreat layouts to share.  The hexagon papers available at the moment are quite fun to use for a change.  Spontaneous mud adventures= fun but that white T-shirt was never quite the same.  Baby Levi was quite happy to be part of the action.  There's something about boys and mud- kinda like peas and carrots.

Prima PP above.  Jamesie wearing Gav's childhood braces.

The boys and I crossing the strait on the looooooooooooooong ferry trip at Easter.  Good to do, but that will be it for a year or two. LOL

Yah for weekends

Happy Sunday peeps!  Aren't weekends great?!  A chance to catch up and recharge and not have to run out of the house first thing.  4 more school days till the hols, which I am looking forward to.

First layout uses Crate paper Random.  Pink!!! yehaaa....  The swinging children motif was cut from Webster's PP.

Lastly some simple tags.  I used my cameo to cut the tags and the stamps are PTI.
Blessings.  Sally :)
