Sparkle!

Love creating with vintage pretties. I think (having 2 wee felllas and being surrounded by noise, dirt, stones, sand, diggers, trucks and boy talk) that playing with pink ribbon and beautiful doilies gives me that girly sparkle I need.

Happy Birthday tag created with a manilla parcel tag.

I bought a pack of these little wage envelopes from Warehouse Stationary to make some pretty gift pockets.
Lastly a card using Prima (girl) and Stampin' Up stamps, trinket pin (MM), wrinkle ribbon (Memrie Mare on Etsy), doily, Kaiser pearls, and Teresa Collins & Webster's PP.
Enjoy the weekend. It's a long weekend here- yippee!

Little Boy layout

It cracks me up to see the items that make their way into Ollie's bed at night!

This layout was made using Echo Park's Little Boy range, for Scrap Box NZ. Further details and products can be found over there.

Summer Love

Enjoying the sun and all that lovely summer has to offer, as are my two busy wee fellas who thrive on dirt, sand, water and the outdoors.

Two projects to share with you today. Firstly a journal cover. Insprired by a card and layout combo in an older Creating Keepsakes mag. Quite a nice 'sketch' that I will use again.

PP, border, stickers: Crate paper Restoration, Kraft, wrinkle ribbon Memrie Mare on Etsy, Kaisercraft pearls, alpha stickers October Afternoon, Maya Road trinket pin. I have machine stitched the border. Corner Rounder punch. Flower unknown.

Also a little card. The tag has been tea dyed. The card, punches, stamp and PP are Stampin' Up, the ink is Color Box, ribbon, pearl and pin (as above).

Happy Monday. xoSal

2011 yipeeeeeeee

Yah it's a new year and it's going to be great. Happy New Year!

Here's a pic of a strawberry crafting kit I put together for a couple of friends (one for each of them LOL). Doily, buttons, lace, trinket pins, shipping tags....

My word for 2011 is going to be 'Renewal'. Check out http://aliedwards.com/2010/12/one-little-word-2011.html I have not done this before. Have you? Not sure if I'll do her workshop over at Big Picture Scrapbooking. Tempting!
40 days of grateful is now all over red rover. Christmas Eve was my last day. Here are the last few days. Will make a cute wee mini at some stage.
Day 36: Managed 3 shops with J (18 months) in tow- walking to and from each. Getting better!
Day 37: Hanging with my BIG 4 year on his birthday. LOVE birthdays.
Day 38: Yah no queue at the supermarket 3 days before Christmas.
Day39: Our Pohutukawa (nicknamed NZ's Christmas tree) is starting to flower for the first time ever.
Day 40: Organised and Christmas is almost here.....

Hoping to have a few projects to show you soon...it's been a while. Coming soon- 'Week in my Life' album finally finished, a mini using mainly October Afternoon Thrift Shop, cards, layouts and more!
