Nearly Over

Week in my life is nearly a goner. What a week it has been. Quite intense journalling events/ conversations/ quirkly little everyday things all week long. 300 plus photos- MY WORD! Of course they won't all be used in the album.

I learnt that my life isn't as mundane as I may think (at times)- I am blessed with gorgeous kids and beautiful people around me....It's all about the little things. Oh and we do live in a little paradise.

Over 60 photos taken YESTERDAY alone (with Nat's help- thanks Nat)...So many goodies and this was one of them....Love it! I need to rethink my album...it's going to be too small....pox!

...so far. Ali (Edwards) said we could link a fav photo to her blog. Man a hard decision....ummmm....Well this is one of them...I wonder if I could sneak some more in...LOL.... So these are James' bubba shoes...Love Autumn! I like the simplicity of the photo and it's probably not something that I would ordinarily take.

It has begun!

Week in my life that is. I have to say it has not been the best week in the world so far with Mr 3's behaviour and Mr almost one's cold but I guess that's my life at the moment.

A few snippets so far:
Ollie: The crescent moon is a "present" moon- "Part of it is missing"

I documented (?!) how Ollie sometimes kisses the milk bottle. Why does he do that!

James randomly starts rocking on the ground so I'll sing "Row row row your boat"- love that!

Love how I'm documenting things that may otherwise just disappear! It's amazing when I read back through old journalling of Ol when he was a bubba how much I actually can't remember.

Getting Organised..

...for the 'week in my life' album. Have got a notebook on the bench for journalling and an album sorted (it's a Basic Grey black chipboard stepped album). I am thinking the colour scheme will be black and white with a hint of blue. Probably 'MME Lush' as a base. Am keen to incorporate transparencies and acetate. Will sort through my stash and work out any gaps. Excited!!!

Happy Easter!

Was cool to spend some time with mum at her Mapua Fair stall. Some steady sales- go mum!

Had a quick looksie around the MANY stalls. Yah Scrapbox were there- some gorgeous new cream and white lacey type ribbon- watch their website for them. Very cool. Also found some bargain cups/plates/napkins for James' birthday party which have changed my original theme idea. What will it be....? Shhh secret squirrel.....
